Pipe Rehabilitation Works Project for Package 1 for Pontian & Kulai District, Johor under fourth operational period: OP4-21. TOM® Oriented PVC (PVC-O) pipes were used for the rehabilitation project and 5,484 m of DN110 to DN315 mm PN16 bar pipes were installed under Package 1.

PVC-O pipes has been chosen as the preferred material to be used for transmission lines in Puerto Princesa as to replace the traditional pipe material of steel pipes. This is due to PVC-O capabilities such as easy & efficient installations, effective cost and immunity to corrosion.

Recently, Molecor SEA has supplied DN250 PN16 pipes to Sharjah Municipality, UAE for the Al Juraina Park Irrigation Network Extension. The installation  consisted in 450 meters of PVC-O pipes from a tee-off of DN225 UPVC existing main supply. The contractor mentioned that the installation was very straightforward and easy due to various reason such as the light weight of the pipes, simple jointing method, adequate members of installation crews and easy access to the site. The client, Sharjah Municipality of UAE was satisfied with the performance of PVC-O pipes for this project.

Ranhill SAJ Sdn Bhd developed a yearly pipe replacement project in order to reinforce their water supply infrastructure to continue providing water to local residents and businesses and also to supply future developments in the town. The new pipeline is to cope with the large number of new houses being built in and around the town and maintain supplies and demand to its networks.
