TOM PVC-O pipes have been selected as the preferred material for the water supply project in Limbang Division, Sarawak, replacing traditional pipe materials to enhance efficiency and durability. The decision was driven by PVC-O’s unique advantages, such as ease of installation, cost-effectiveness, and resistance to corrosion. Thanks to the ease of installation, even local people can participate in installing the pipes, empowering the community, and ensuring the project progresses efficiently.
The project involves the construction of a new water treatment plant at Pa’Kapulu in the Lawas District, alongside the development of an extensive pipeline network to improve water supply for small villages in the area.
With a total pipeline length of 3,710 meters, the installation utilizes DN110, DN160, and DN200 TOM PVC-O pipes. This initiative aims to address the region’s growing demand for potable water while providing a long-term, reliable solution for local communities.
