TOM® PVC-O pipes have been selected as the preferred material for the water supply project in Limbang Division, Sarawak, replacing traditional pipe materials to enhance efficiency and durability. The decision was driven by PVC-O’s unique advantages, such as ease of installation, cost-effectiveness, and resistance to corrosion. Thanks to the ease of installation, even local people can participate in installing the pipes, empowering the community, and ensuring the project progresses efficiently.
The project involves the construction of a new water treatment plant at Bawang Ubor - Pangkalan Jawa alongside the development of an extensive pipeline network to improve water supply for small villages in the area.
With a total pipeline length of 13.8 km, the installation utilizes DN200 and DN250 TOM® PVC-O pipes. This initiative aims to address the region’s growing demand for potable water while providing a long-term, reliable solution for local communities.
