Molecor SEA (booth S43 & 44) will participate in the 5th installment of the Borneo International Water and Wastewater Exhibition and Conference (BIWWEC) that will take place in the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) on October 23-25.
BIWWEC is a Sarawak’s international congregation of water & wastewater experts, run biennially by the Malaysia Water Association (MWA) Sarawak Branch. With the theme of Bridging Solutions for Water Sustainability and the tagline Flowing Future, BIWWEC 2024 aims to work on active solutions and synergistic efforts through smart technology and innovation in Borneo.
This edition of BIWWEC 2024 is centered around these pillars: Energy Efficiency, Reduction of Non-Revenue Water (NRW), Innovative Asset Management, and Innovation Drivers (Digital Technology, AI, Decentralized Solutions). And Molecor SEA offers innovative solutions to address these key issues with its vast range of solutions for the conveyance of water and complementary software.
During the event, attendees will be able to see one of the latest achievements in water piping: the world's largest Oriented PVC pipe, TOM® DN90-1200 mm. A new nominal diameter that allows the use of this improved material in larger projects. And observe the first fittings entirely manufactured in PVC-O class 500, the ecoFITTOM® fittings. The sealing gasket of both products and the PVC-O resistance to cracks reduces leakages and Non-Revenue Water and their manufacturing process with the exclusive technology developed by Molecor allows them to have one of the smallest carbon footprints in the industry.
In addition, along with the aforementioned products, it will also be possible to test the geoTOM® application, a new digital tool developed by Molecor to facilitate the geolocation of canalization projects. Thanks to the application and a smartphone it is possible to create digital layouts in a simple and intuitive way with all the information and exact position of each piece, regardless of the material or manufacturer
