On April 10, industry leaders, political representatives, and experts gathered in the Spanish Senate to address the challenges and opportunities facing the plastics processing sector. Molecor joined ANAIP (the Spanish Association of Plastics Industries) at this pivotal event to lend its support and voice as a leading company in the field.
The session focused on how current regulations are impacting the industry's competitiveness and aimed to provide senators and deputies with a clearer understanding of the realities faced by a sector comprised largely of over 3,000 small and micro-enterprises. Molecor's participation underscores its ongoing commitment to defending the interests of the plastics industry.
The event was opened by Javier Maroto, First Vice-President of the Senate, who welcomed attendees to the Upper House. He was joined by Luis Rodrigo, President of ANAIP, and Deborah García Bello, scientist and science communicator, who served as moderator for the day.
A Program Focused on Dialogue and Real-World Impact
The agenda included two key roundtable discussions:
- Roundtable 1: Competitiveness in the Plastics Industry: Political leaders explored the impact of regulation and proposed solutions to boost the sector’s performance.
