On 15 January 2024, Molecor SEA welcomed water operator; Ranhill SAJ Sdn Bhd and contractor; Rata Hikmat Duta JV to manufacturing plant which attended by fellow of consultant, project engineers and quality personnel for Factory Acceptance Test and Visit. This is a project requirement by water authority for J086 Cadangan Penggantian Paip lama di Negeri Johor Package 3 Project.

There was a brief description of the product being manufactured and tested, including its key specifications and functionalities. Our QA team also summarized the results of each test, noting whether the product met the specified requirements and include any issues or discrepancies identified during the testing process. At the end of the visit, the visitors learnt about packing and delivery method. Overall, the visit is a success!

PVC-O pipes has been installed in Johor, Malaysia for more than 300km since year 2015 with various application such as internal reticulation, external reticulation and supply main. The biggest diameter being installed in Johor was DN500 PN16 for 10km for supply main in Batu Pahat, Johor. PVC-O pipes is listed in Ranhill SAJ’s approved material and have become one of the preferred piping materials. This is due to its superior mechanical properties, water hammer resistance, chemical resistance, and watertight features. The usage of PVC-O pipes also helps with reduction of non-revenue water (NRW) percentage in this region.
